Every great story requires a journey. For Valia Co., it started in 2016 with the (very early) birth of a little boy named Andrew. Our family started as a single mother determined to get her medically complex son the best care possible for a long list of conditions. A lengthy neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) stay led to Andrew's need for occupational therapy, among other kinds. Therapists worked with him to build skills that he missed out on while getting medical treatment, and the impact of their work was incredible. This experience started our family's journey into all things sensory play. We learned so much as Andrew and our family grew, and today we are proud to be building a company that offers high quality sensory toys to children near and far.
